Who is behind EZ CD Key?
EZ CD Key is run by a small team of lifelong PC gamers. We started this project because we were tired of seeing fake “free keys” sites take advantage of players. We wanted to build the site we wished existed: real giveaways, real winners, and useful content with no tricks.

How we make money (full transparency)
Running giveaways costs real money — every key we give away was donated by a developer or bought at retail. The site is funded by display advertising on this blog and, occasionally, affiliate links to stores we already recommend. Two things will never happen here: we will never charge you to enter a giveaway (paid entries would make it a lottery, and that is illegal in most countries), and we will never let an advertiser buy a positive review.
Our editorial standards
- We test what we recommend. Build guides use parts we have benchmarked or verified against multiple independent reviews. Game lists come from games we have actually played.
- Prices are checked at publication. Sales end and prices move — if you spot an outdated price, tell us and we will fix the article.
- Corrections are permanent. When we get something wrong, we correct the article itself, not just quietly delete it.
- No grey-market promotion. We explain how key marketplaces work because readers deserve to understand them, but we do not take commissions from, or recommend, grey-market sellers.
